More recently she worked to organize collecting school supplies and a holiday toy drive for the Northern Harlem Valley. She was the honorary recipient of the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Walk in 2017. She also received a community service award from the North East Community in Millerton, NY in 2015. Cindy was an avid photographer and received the Dutchess County Executive Arts Award for Bonnie Boxes in 2015. ![]() On Februin Wassaic, NY she married Maryanne Pitts who survives at home.Ĭindy was the founder of the Harlem Valley Arts and Bonnie Boxes, a volunteer project that made boxes of love for cancer warriors.
